ESMO – AAOC: Membership Agreement

ESMO and the Argentinian Society of Clinical Oncology (AAOC) signed a joint membership agreement in 2019.  The aim of the agreement is to promote education and scientific initiatives to the Argentinian oncology community.

ESMO - AAOC Agreement

As of 1 October 2019 members of the AAOC will be able to benefit from a simplified membership application process to join ESMO, avoiding the need for a Sponsor (i.e. details of an ESMO member who supports your application) or the need to provide an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae in English.

ESMO members in Argentina benefit from an annual ESMO membership fee of €50 (online access to Annals of Oncology), due to Argentina being classified by the World Bank as an upper-middle income country, based on the Gross National Income (GNI) per capita and calculated using the World Bank Atlas method.

Applicants should follow the normal ESMO membership procedure, on reaching the section asking for membership to another professional oncology society. AAOC members should indicate they are a member of the AAOC by clicking on the society name.
