ESMO Resilience Task Force: Survey Series

The ESMO Resilience Taskforce survey series highlights the crucial importance of improving the wellbeing of oncology professionals to ensure they continue to provide the best care to cancer patients during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

Purpose of the Project

The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020 has forced the community to face both personal and professional challenges which were unprecedented for oncology professionals. Recognising that the well-being of oncology workforce is essential to ensure the continuous delivery of the best care to patients with cancer, during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, the ESMO Resilience Task Force launched a series of global surveys to evaluate how oncology professionals were affected by these challenges by assessing the impact on their daily practice, well-being, burnout and to understand what support was available.
