The Fellow of ESMO (FESMO) Award Programme was launched in 2022 to recognise, honour, and reward ESMO Members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Society.
The FESMO title is awarded to ESMO Members whose contribution to the Society and long-standing involvement in its activities help to further the mission of the Society.
The first FESMO Awards were presented on the occasion of the ESMO Congress 2022 to remember the individuals who served the Society in the past, to pay tribute to the individuals whose dedication and involvement in ESMO activities helped shape the Society to what it has become today: the leading professional organisation for medical oncology.
