Silvia Hofer

Silvia Hofer, MD, is a medical oncologist with special interests and expertise in Neuro-Oncology and Sarcoma. She is currently working at the University Hospital in Zürich, Switzerland. Stays abroad at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London and the University Hospital Vienna complemented her training and strengthened her network. Silvia Hofer initiated and was president of the neuro-oncology working group of the SAKK (Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research) from 1998-2009. She has initiated (IIT) and participated in several clinical trials from phase I/II to later phases and has authored and co-authored articles in national and international journals, book chapters as well as abstracts in congresses. She is a member of national and international Neurooncology and Sarcoma societies.
