Dr Caiola is a young researcher at the Laboratory of Molecular Pharmacology, Department of Oncology, IRCCS- Mario Negri Institute of Phamacological Research in Milan.

She received her Biology Degree from the University of Insubria, Varese, Italy in 2010 and then attended a three year course for the post degree diploma “Specialist in Pharmacological Research” , which she completed in 2013 with Dr. Massimo Broggini at the laboratory of Molecular Pharmacology at the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research in Milan. In October 2011 she entered the PhD programme in collaboration with the Open University, UK and she has now entered in the last year of the course.

Elisa Caiola has been co-author in many publications and abstracts.

She has been mainly working on a project aimed at characterising the important determinant of response in lung cancer.
