ESMO Guidelines Committee

The ESMO Guidelines Committee manages the ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG), which intend to provide you with a set of recommendations for the best standard of care.

Activities and responsibilities

  • Reviewing, updating and publishing ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines and Pocket Guidelines
  • Organising ESMO Consensus Conferences and publishing Consensus Guidelines
  • Disseminating publications in print and online on the Annals of Oncology, ESMO and OncologyPRO websites
  • Organising interactive Guidelines sessions at the ESMO and European Multidisciplinary Cancer Congresses
  • Leading author training sessions to improve the homogeneity and quality of ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines
  • Working with other societies to develop multidisciplinary clinical practice guidelines
