These Guidelines were developed by the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS) and the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO).

This ESMO–EONS–EANO Clinical Practice Guideline provides key recommendations on the management of therapy-induced peripheral and central neurotoxicity. Authorship includes a multidisciplinary group of experts from different institutions and countries in Europe and abroad. Recommendations are based on available scientific data and the authors’ collective expert opinion. An algorithm on the practical approach to assessing chemotherapy-induced peripheral neurotoxicity is provided.
