Profile

The Cancer Center of Ulsan University Hospital has four specialized oncology ward (120 beds). The palliative care unit is available in 10 beds, and a specialized oncology ward can also provide Advisory Hospice Palliative Care.

The center offers various services such as psycho-oncology clinic, palliative care clinic, hematopoietic cell transplantation clinic and cancer survivor clinic.

The Hospice and Palliative Care Center provides consultation and home-based hospice services to cancer patients and offers admission hospice services to terminal cancer patients. The Cancer Survivor Clinic is trying to improve quality of life of cancer survivors by providing secondary cancer screening, prevention, and personalized education tailored to their specific needs (rehabilitation, nutrition, psychology/emotional and sleep management).

Specialities

The center provides various treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormone therapy for solid tumors such as stomach cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, esophageal cancer, direct colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, urinary mechanical cancer, and metastatic cancer.
The center has multidisciplinary clinics for optimal individualized treatments and also operates day care clinic.

There are many physicians and specialists such as rehabilitation specialists, psychiatrists, professional nutritionists working closely with the center.

The center also provides smoker among cancer patients smoking cessation programs through  the smoking cessation support center.

The Family medicine department in our center is treating chronic diseases and obesity for cancer patients.
