Romain Cohen is a medical oncologist at Saint-Antoine hospital, Paris, and Assistant Professor of Oncology at Sorbonne University. He is a member of the research team “microsatellite instability and cancer” from Saint-Antoine Research Center and SiRIC CURAMUS.

After obtaining his PhD degree, he worked as a research fellow in the Sargent's Hypothesis Analysis in the Research of Endpoint (SHARE) team at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN, USA), focusing on patients with BRAFV600E-mutated metastatic colorectal cancer and the impact of microsatellite instability among patients with stage III colon cancer.

Dr Romain Cohen’s main clinical and research interests include the study of cancers harboring microsatellite instability, particularly their treatment with immune-oncology. Core member of GERCOR (Multidisciplinary Oncology Cooperative Group), he is principal investigator of several clinical trials dedicated to MSI tumors.
