Dr Tripodaki earned her degree in Medicine from the University of Athens Medical School in 2006, followed by research in Intensive Care which led to a PhD “Microcirculatory alterations in the postoperative period in cardiac surgery patients”, in 2013. She was awarded her Medical Oncology specialty from the Athens Medical Association in 2019.

Between 2007 and 2013 she was a Clinical Research Fellow (PhD Candidate) in the First Critical Care Department, Evangelismos Hospital, Medical School, University of Athens and subsequently a Fellow in Internal Medicine until 2016, first at Evangelismos Hospital and then at the Department of Medical Oncology, Hellenic Air Force Hospital, Athens.

Between 2016-2019 she worked as a Fellow in Clinical Oncology at the 1st Dep. of Medical Oncology, Saint Savvas Hospital, Athens, and was sub-investigator for the IMpassion130 trial (A study of atezolizumab in combination with Nab-Paclitaxel compared with placebo with Nab-Paclitaxel, for participants with previously untreated metastatic Triple-Negative Breast Cancer), as well as participated in a number of phase III and phase IV trials.

In 2020 she was a Clinical Research Fellow at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London UK, in the Breast and Gynecological Unit.

In 2020-2021, she was a Consultant in Medical Oncology at the 1st Dep. of Medical Oncology, Saint Savvas Hospital, Athens and since 2021 she has been a Consultant in Medical Oncology at the 3d Dep. of Medical Oncology, General Oncological Hospital of Kifisia “Saint Anargyroi”, Greece.

Her special interests include breast and gynecological cancer as well as palliative care. She is particularly interested in International solidarity projects and has participated in 3 medical missions to offer health care to remote regions in Tanzania.

She is a Member of the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology (HESMO), Member of the Hellenic Group of Sarcoma and Rare Cancer and Member of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).

Dr Tripodaki was awarded the Evangelos Briasoulis 12 month scholarship from the Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology for a Clinical Fellowship at the Royal Marsden Hospital in October 2019 and a 3 month scholarship from Women for Oncology Hellas in May 2019.

Dr Tripodaki is author and co-author of several articles in specialized publications.
