The ESMO Deep Dive - Lower Digestive Cancers Webinar Series recordings and slides are available to all ESMO Members.
ESMO Deep Dive: Lower Digestive Cancers - Breakthroughs in Systemic Therapies for Metastatic Colorectal Cancer Patients without Oncogenic Drivers or Hypermutated Phenotype 2023
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the ESMO webinar on Deep Dive into Lower Digestive Cancers that will elaborate the breakthroughs in systemic therapies for metastatic colorectal cancer patients without oncogenic drivers or hypermutated phenotype.
This webinar is developed with the aim to acquire a deeper understanding of the clinical course of malignant disease of the lower digestive system and understand biological hypotheses on classification and risk stratification, ongoing/required research in therapeutics and knowledge of use of omics technologies for biomarker-enabled precision medicine for lower digestive cancers. Furthermore, the programme will enhance development of skills and abilities for critical analysis, interpretation of research data and therapeutic strategies, as well as becoming better equipped for informed, innovative thinking and engagement in ongoing or new research projects.
I am delighted to announce the distinguished speakers who will join me in this webinar. We will firstly discuss the novel prognosticators for patients with non-oncogene addicted, non-hypermutated metastatic colorectal cancer. The next lecture will focus on How to optimize efficacy and tolerability of treatment sequences in patients with mCRC: can biologic and clinicopathologic data guide us? We will then finish the lectures with a discussion on Emerging breakthroughs in systemic therapeutics for the salvage therapy of patients with mCRC. The lectures will then be followed by a live discussion by the speaker’s panel.
The programme is designed to provide an overview of the state of the art and ongoing research in systemic therapies for metastatic colorectal cancer. It will offer expert opinion exchange and provide some important considerations for practice and research in this field. I strongly encourage and invite you to register and join us all in this new ESMO activity.
