EURACAN is a European Reference Network (ERN) connecting patients with rare adult solid cancers to expert centres across Europe. It comprises 106 highly specialised cancer centres across 26 European countries, international scientific societies, national networks and patient advocates.
EURACAN groups all rare adult solid cancers into ten groups corresponding to the RARECARE list of rare cancers based on the ICD-O.
SPAGN is the global network of national Sarcoma Patient Advocacy Organizations. Today, over 60 member groups from 5 continents gather under the umbrella of SPAGN, providing a common, international and influential patient voice for sarcoma patients around the globe. SPAGN aims to improve the treatment and care of sarcoma patients through information and support, and by increasing the visibility of sarcoma with policymakers and the public.
