Pick up your ESMO Member Ribbon
Be recognised as an ESMO Member to be granted access to the ESMO Membership Lounge. All members and new members signing up in Vienna will be given an ESMO Member Ribbon identifying them as members of the society. You can pick up your ribbon either at the ESMO Booth or the ESMO Membership Lounge.
All new members signing up at the congress will receive a membership card, which also grants lounge access. Existing members can receive one by visiting us at the ESMO Booth, or at the Membership services counter in the ESMO Members’ Lounge.

Sit the ESMO Examination
The ESMO exam will take place on Saturday 26 September will be held at the Austria Center Vienna – a different venue from ECC 2015. Full information, including information on bus trasfers to the exam venue can be found here.
ESMO members: there are still a few places left, if you wish to register for the exam you will be able to do so in the ESMO Lounge on the morning of the exam, Saturday 26 September, between 09:00–13:00.
ESMO Designated Centres of Integrated Oncology and Palliative Care
The 2015 centres will be presented with their awards during the Special Session: ESMO Designated Centres of Integrated Oncology and Palliative Care on Saturday 26 September, 18:25-20:25 in Room Stolz 2. The ESMO Palliative Care Fellowships will also be presented during the session.

ESMO Society Session
Join us for the ESMO Society Session on Monday 28 September, 16:45-18:45 in Hall A5. The session will include presentations of the ESMO Magnitude of Clinical Benefits Scale and the ESMO International Anti-Neoplastic Medicines Study and will be chaired by Rolf Stahel (ESMO President) and Fortunato Ciardiello (ESMO President-elect). The ESMO Research Fellowships will also be presented during the session.
The Hamilton Fairley Award will be presented to Cornelis Punt during the Presidential II Session on Sunday 27 September, 14:45-16:45 in Hall D1. Prof Punt will give a scientific lecture on his area of expertise during this session.
The ESMO Award will be presented to Nathan Cherny and the ESMO Lifetime Achievement Award presented to Nagahiro Saijo during the ESMO Society Session on Monday 28 September, 16:45-18:45 in Hall A5. Prof Saijo will give a lecture during this session.
