Important information for participants registered as part of a group
Please note that if a participant is registered via the group registration procedure, the group leader must provide the personal details of each group member. The group leader may still instruct the ESMO Congress Secretariat to send the confirmations for each group member directly to the group leader and not to the individual participants. The group leader may then collect the participants’ registration material on-site. Should the individual wish to collect his/her own material, he/she is kindly requested to contact their group leader. In all cases registration material will only be given in exchange for the original confirmation of registration.
Registration for ESMO members
To register an ESMO member and benefit from the reduced fee, the full ESMO ID number of the participant must be provided during the registration process. Prior to registering for the Congress, please verify that the status of membership is “active” and includes eligibility for preferential congress fees. For more information, please review the Registration Terms & Conditions.
Invitation letter for visa application
Individuals can download their electronic Invitation letter online through the registration system. To download / receive the Invitation letter, participants must first register to the Congress and pay in full. For special invitation letters please contact registration@esmo.org.
Important note: All foreign delegates requiring a visa to enter Singapore are mandated to fill in the V39A form. Please contact registration@esmo.org to request the form. Additional information is available from the Immigrations and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
The invitation letter does not commit ESMO to any financial obligations whatsoever. All expenses incurred in relation to the Congress are the sole responsibility of the delegate. For more information please review the Registration Terms & Conditions.
Congress webcasts
The webcasts of the Congress will include all the sessions of the official programme, where speaker permission is granted, and will be made available within 72 hours on:
- Via the ESMO conference platform for all delegates for 6 months after the Congress
- ESMO members will also be able to access the webcasts via OncologyPRO from 24 December 2016
Important: keep your badge as you will be requested to enter your badge ID number and last name to log in.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificate of Attendance will be available online from Monday morning 19 December. Delegates will have one month to access this website and print it from home. Before obtaining the Certificate of Attendance, delegates will be requested to enter their badge ID code and last name to log in as well as complete the evaluation questionnaire. It is therefore important to retain the delegate badge for this purpose.
The Certificate of Attendance will indicate the maximum number of credit points (1 credit point per 1 hour of programme attended up to a maximum of 6 credits per day) related to the Congress. However, it is the participant’s responsibility to complete the Certificate of Attendance with the number of hours of scientific programme (= number of credit points) that he/she has actually attended.
Badge
The badge is the only official evidence of registration, thus, participants not wearing their badge do not have access to the Congress. Loss of badge is loss of registration and a new badge will be issued only upon payment of the pro-rata fee.
