Transportation pass
All registered delegates will receive a 5-day transportation pass, valid from Friday 8 September to Tuesday 12 September inclusive.
The pass, Zone A Tourist Tickets, can be used on:
- All Metro lines within the zone
- All EMT routes (excluding the Airport Express Line)
- All RENFE Suburban Train stations within the zone
- Light Rail ML1
Please be aware of third parties selling fictitious registration tickets. These companies may mislead event participants by representing themselves as the official congress registration provider and may use a range of tactics to deceive including usage of the ESMO logo. In some cases event participants have been led to believe that they had made a registration, only to arrive at the event to find that no registration has been made and their credit cards may have been charged.
We would like to alert our members and delegates to be aware of possible scams and to strongly advise you to only register through our website by using the official ESMO Congress Registration System.
Access rights to the webcasts is also included for all ESMO members, and for non-members who elect to pay the additional fee.

The Congress webcast will capture and include all the sessions of the official programme, where speaker permission is granted, and will be made available on the ESMO website within 48 hours. The webcast will be available to ESMO members (through OncologyPRO) and delegates who paid the webcast fee. Delegates can purchase the webcast package on-site at the onsite registration desks, for 40 Euros (VAT included).
Important: Keep your badge as you will be requested to enter your badge ID code and last name to log-in!
Certificate of Attendance
Certificate of Attendance will be available online from Wednesday morning 13 September. You will have 2 weeks to access the ESMO website in the Congress section and print it from home. Before obtaining your Certificate of Attendance, you will be requested to enter your badge ID code and last name to log in as well as complete the evaluation questionnaire. It is therefore important to retain the delegate badge for this purpose.
The Certificate of Attendance will indicate the maximum number of credit points (1 credit point per 1 hour of programme attended up to a maximum of 6 credits per day) related to the Congress. However, it is the participant’s responsibility to complete the Certificate of Attendance with the number of hours of scientific programme (= number of credit points) that he/she has actually attended.
Badge
The badge is the only official evidence of registration, thus, participants not wearing their badge do not have access to the Congress. Loss of badge is loss of registration and a new badge will be issued only upon payment of the pro-rata fee.
