ESMO supports oncologists to become better professionals.

In an increasingly specialised environment, oncologists need to adapt to rapid changes in standards of practice and further sharpen their expertise, gaining in-depth, disease-specific knowledge and learning how to collaborate effectively with other specialists in an integrated, multi-professional setting.

Achieving its Vision 2020 of Specialised Education, over the years ESMO has developed into a comprehensive education centre, supporting oncologists to learn, grow and become even better professionals every day, thus enabling them to provide quality cancer care to their patients, wherever they are.

The ESMO Guidelines, for example, are a key element of the Society's educational offering: prepared and reviewed by leading experts and based on the findings of evidence-based medicine, they provide oncologists with recommendations to help patients with the best care options.
