ESMO 2018: Programme

The ESMO 2018 Preliminary Programme is now online!

The ESMO 2018 Congress will provide a scientific and educational programme able to directly impact the daily clinical practice of oncologists. This year, the programme also features a dedicated nursing track through a collaboration with the European Oncology Nursing Society (EONS).

CME: The Congress programme will be submitted for accreditation to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found online here.

ESMO-MORA: The Congress programme will also be submitted for ESMO-MORA category 1 points accreditation. Recertification is necessary for medical oncologists to remain professionally certified by ESMO. It also guarantees that a certified medical oncologist has continued to update her/his knowledge and still possess the necessary skills and standards for the practice of medical oncology.  See here for further details.

The ESMO 2018 Congress webcast will include all sessions of the official programme where speaker permission is granted.

All ESMO members will be able to access the Congress webcast via OncologyPRO. It will also be available online for the first 6 months following the Congress to all delegates who elect to pay the additional webcast fee. After this period the webcast will be removed from the ESMO website.
