Learning objectives
- To identify the unique characteristics and the unmet needs of adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer
- To describe the unique constellation of malignancies that comprise the spectrum of AYA cancer
- To analyse epidemiology, biology, clinical features and diagnostic challenges of AYA with cancer
- To emphasize on radicality of treatment, multi-disciplinarity and psychosocial support of AYA
- To discuss survivorship issues including late sequelae of treatment and the urgent need for clinical trials

The programme of this event has been accredited with 11 ESMO-MORA category 1 points. Recertification is necessary for medical oncologists to remain professionally certified by ESMO.
