Established in November 1999, Sunway Medical Centre is an Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) and Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) accredited private hospital in Malaysia.

Sunway Cancer Centre is at the forefront in adopting the latest technology to ensure clinical excellence. We are the first hospital in Malaysia to install the Elekta Leksell Gamma Knife® ICON™, Varian TrueBeam™ STx and Accuray Radixact X9 TomoTherapy. We are also the first private hospital to offer intra-operative radiotherapy for breast cancer.
Our comprehensive radiological and nuclear medicine services include the 4D PET CT, xSPECT CT, PRRT, RAI-131, PSMA and SIRT. The hospital is also equipped with the latest model of the da Vinci® Robotics Surgical System for minimally invasive surgeries. Our multidisciplinary team have regular tumour board meetings where best cancer treatment options are discussed, focusing on comprehensive patient-centred care.

Palliative and Supportive Care
Sunway Medical Centre is committed in supporting cancer patients holistically throughout their cancer journey, including bereavement care. Our Palliative and Supportive Care service is a consultant-led service consisting of trained and experienced palliative care doctors and nurses with consultations in outpatient clinics and inpatient and domiciliary palliative care settings. We also actively participate in palliative care research and palliative care education for healthcare professionals.
