A year on from the COVID-19 outbreak, many countries were still experiencing yet another surge, lockdown, and changes to both personal and professional life.

This third survey focused on the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on oncology professionals. Was the vaccine a reason for hope?

It was conducted in February/March 2021 to evaluate the impact of the ongoing changes to both personal and professional life due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This survey aimed to focus on global disparities in the impact on the oncology workforce and on the hope related to the vaccine.

The results were presented during the ESMO Virtual Congress 2021 and published in ESMO Open
