Training Experience Required
Fellows and/or specialists in Oncology or Geriatrics who are interested in geriatric oncology. The experience will include assessment and management of older patients with cancer close to our professionals and training in design/follow clinical trials in older patients.
General Description
Our Hospital is a comprehensive center just close to Milan and Bergamo. There are multidisciplinary tumor board (MTB) weekly on GU, GI/GN, Thoracic and breast cancer.
There is another smaller hospital which belong to our network where we perform oncological service as well.
Expertise
In our department there is a well structured "geriatric oncology unit" which is active since several years. We have protocols regarding the assessment and the management of older patients with cancer. We have several cooperative trial together with other hospitals.
Facilities
In our institution there is, among all departments, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine as well as nutrition unit. We have a donor association that allow us to accommodate follows/specialist who want to visit our center.
From Treviglio to Milan is a 30 min trip (by train or car)
