LUGANO, Switzerland; DENVER, CO, USA – The European Lung Cancer Congress 2021, the annual event devoted to advance the quality of lung cancer treatment, will be held as a virtual meeting (25-27 March).

More than 200 studies will be presented (oral or e-poster presentations) and published online as a supplement of the Journal of Thoracic Oncology.

Programme highlights

  • New perspectives in the treatment of small cell lung cancer and mesothelioma, including novel agents and prospects for chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy
  • Lung cancer prevention, with a focus on smoking cessation and the safety and effectiveness of e-cigarettes
  • Management and treatment options for both early and advanced stage disease in non-small cell lung cancer
  • The role of immunotherapy in the treatment of lung cancer
