LUGANO-MADRID –The most important oncology congress in Europe is showing support for World Cancer Research Day with nearly 24,000 researchers and clinicians united in the fight against cancer.
There is no victory against cancer without research: “Integrating science into oncology for a better patient outcome” is the slogan of ESMO 2017, in collaboration with the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR). Both organisations support World Cancer Research Day, which will be held on 24 September.
Research is fundamental. Don’t just stand by in the face of cancer.
If we don’t do anything, by 2030 one person will die of cancer almost every two seconds. Cancer research is about working on all types of cancer to produce results that improve patients’ lives.
