ESMO and the Mexican Society of Oncology (SMeO) signed a joint membership agreement in 2017. The aim of the agreement is to promote education and scientific initiatives within the Mexican oncology community.
ESMO – SMeO Agreement
As of March 2017, members of the SMeO are welcome to join ESMO along with their national society and get access to more valuable educational resources and opportunities.
The annual ESMO membership fee for members in Mexico is now waived, due to Mexico being classified by the World Bank as an upper-middle income country, based on the Gross National Income (GNI) per capita and calculated using the World Bank Atlas method.
If you are already an ESMO and a SMeO member, please contact the ESMO Membership Services team who will update your profile with the information about your SMeO membership.
New ESMO Member?
Applicants should follow the normal ESMO membership procedure, on reaching the section asking for membership to another professional oncology society, SMeO members should indicate that they are a member of the SMeO by clicking on the society name.
