The ESMO Asia 2021 Congress has been postponed to 2022, in its place we will hold the ESMO Asia Virtual Oncology Week 2021 from 17 to 23 November 2021.
During the ESMO Asia Virtual Oncology Week, we will host a number of virtual events including the ESMO Asia Highlights of the Year Meeting, covering the practice changing studies presented over the last year, Guidelines Sessions with clinical case presentations based on the Pan Asian Adapted Guidelines, Public Policy sessions and an ESMO Webinar on Gastric Cancer.
New practice-changing data can also be submitted for presentation during the ESMO Virtual Plenary (VP) Sessions which will be held on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 November 2021. Abstract submission for November presentation will be open on the ESMO website from mid-September to 15 October 2021. For more details please click here.
Registration for the ESMO Asia Highlights of the Year Meeting, Virtual Plenary Sessions, Pan Asian Adapted Guidelines Lectures, ESMO Policy Sessions and the ESMO Webinar on Gastric Cancer will be open to all, free of charge.
Over the course of the week, we will also run five ESMO Preceptorship Courses (by application only), more information and details of how to apply can be found here.
On the 20 November 2021, we will hold the Pan Asian Adaptation of the ESMO Prostate Cancer Guidelines Expert Meeting (closed meeting – by invitation only), in collaboration with seven Asian oncology societies, aimed at adapting the most recent ESMO Guidelines for their use in the management of Asian patients with cancer.
The ESMO Young Oncologists Committee will also hold interactive Mentorship Sessions, details will be published soon.
