Areas of specialisation

Palliative and supportive care

For any patients (with or without long-term benefit from anti-tumor interventions) the palliative care service performed a gradual and simultaneous "taken in care", preferentially (if is it possible) with home care services.

Palliative cares are available in the hospital (ambulatory or hospice), at home with a directly home care service with the same staff of the hospital (only for the Florence city area), or at home with a linking to local home care services (in this case, phone availability for support is warranted).
