Palliative and supportive care
The palliative care team is involved early in the care of all patients. In our outpatient clinic, the palliative care team provides simultaneous and integrated care with clinical oncologists. The palliativist, a psychologist and the nurses dedicated to palliative care (3) look for the most convenient way to fulfil patient and caregiver needs, including support at home. COMPASSION, COMMITMENT and EXCELLENCE are the basis of our Institutional philosophy. When complex needs are identified a close communication with patients and families is established. Our success lies in our team approach. We pride ourselves on offering continuity of care throughout the disease continuum.
