Job Description

Sarah Cannon Research Institute is actively looking for an experienced Oncologist Doctor either at a Senior Registrar or Junior Consultant level to join us as a Senior Clinical Fellow for a period of 6 months.

This is your opportunity to be part of a ground breaking team.

As a clinical trials specialist, you will be involved in leading and being principle investigator for a number of Cancer Clinical trials ( predominantly breast and lung cancer ) working with patients medically, through their journey, truly making a difference in Oncology Clinical Research.

  • This role is based in our exclusive premises in the Harley Street Medical District, in central London.
  • The contract is initially for a period of 6 months to start asap, with a view this potentially may go to a substantive post.
  • Salary £80000-£85000 per annum.
  • Monday to Friday Day Shifts only, we would prefer a full time Doctor but are open to part time requests too.

As the research arm of HCA Healthcare a global cancer institute, we are the first UK trials unit outside of the NHS that has the ability to offer new anti-cancer drugs in clinical trials. Successful Applicants will need:

  • Speciality Trained Cancer/Oncology Doctor, Minimum Registrar Level
  • Medical Degree; Full Registration and License to Practise with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Previous experience working as a clinical trial investigator
  • We are supportive of Oncologists wanting to join us from overseas and can support them with a Tier 2 Visa and Certificate of Sponsorship
