Prof. Seidensticker is Professor in Image Guided Minimal Invasive Oncology at the Department of Radiology at the Ludwigs Maximilians University Hospital in Munich and leads the division of Interventional Radiology/Interventional Oncology.

Prof. Seidensticker provides an outstanding clinical expertise in the interdisciplinar management of patients with hepatic tumors covering both diagnostic and interventional  radiology. This is emphasized by being the lead of the diagnostic study part of the european multicentre SORAMIC trial comparing hepatobiliary MRI to computed tomography in treatment decision making in HCC patients.

He has given numerous invited lectures at international meetings with focus on interventional treatment of liver tumors as well as liver imaging. His expertise in interventional radiology is mirrored by being the designated scientific director of the International School of Image Guided Interventions.
