Dr Abramowicz is a clinical geneticist, Professor at the University of Geneva and Head of the department of Genetic Medicine of the Hopitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG), Geneva, Switzerland. He is also a Professor of medical genetics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium, and was head of the Medical Genetics department of University Hospital Erasme, Brussels, Belgium, from 2009 to 2017.
For twenty years he has been in charge of oncogenetics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, including the Institut Jules Bordet.
Dr Abramowicz has authored more than 100 research papers relating to genetics or genomics in peer-reviewed journals (H-index 34, Web of Science; 40, Google Scholar). ORCID : 0000-0003-0623-8768.
