Bruna David is a medical oncologist currently working at the National Cancer Institute of Brazil (INCA) and Oncoclinicas where her focus is on Adult Sarcomas. The empowerment of the Brazilian Sarcoma Multidisciplinary network became her main goal, with the intention of connecting specialists around the country to improve patients care and facilitate their access to research and new treatment possibilities.

Dr. David earned her medical degree from the Fluminense Federal University, Rio de Janeiro, in 2012 and completed the medical oncology specialty training in 2018 at the National Cancer Institute of Brazil. After her degree in general oncology, she dedicated herself to specializing in the treatment of mesenchymal tumours at the National Tumor Institute in Milan, Italy. In parallel, she participated in a consortium which aims to create a European-Latin American Sarcoma Network, sponsored by HORIZON 2020, a European Union fund. This initiative is developing the first Latin American Sarcoma Guideline, creating a tumour biobank and providing peer review for transcontinental research and pathology cases through the collaboration of many countries.
