Tessa Brabander, MD, PhD, works as a nuclear medicine physician at the Department of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine of the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She received her PhD on imaging and therapy of neuroendocrine tumours with radiolabeled somatostatin analogs under the supervision of Prof.dr. D.J. Kwekkeboom and Prof.dr. W.W. de Herder. Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) for patients with neuroendocrine tumours is a large part of her clinical work and she leads the PRRT team in nuclear medicine. Her main research interests are imaging and therapy of neuroendocrine tumours, and other radionuclide therapy, especially with alpha-emitting radionuclides.
