Dr Bharti Devnani, MBBS, DNB is a Clinical Oncologist in the Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She holds a post-graduate qualification in Radiotherapy from the National Board of Examinations, India and is registered with the National Medical Commission, India (erstwhile Medical Council of India). She is also a member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, India and has passed the ESMO Examination in Oncology.

Her areas of interest include Head and Neck Cancers, Breast Cancer, CNS tumours and rare cancers. She has a special interest in advanced technologies in radiotherapy including Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT). She has been trained in SBRT for spinal tumours at MSKCC, New York under the fellowship programme of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India. She was also an ESMO-Clinical Unit Visit fellow at Humanitas Hospital, Milan, Italy where she was trained on SBRT in Gasto-Intestinal malignancies.

She has written several peer reviewed papers and book chapters and has presented her research at various international congresses including ASTRO, ESMO and ICC. She has received several awards including “Young Scientist International Travel Grant Award” of Indian Council of Medical Research, “International Conference grant” by Indian Society of Neuro-Oncology, and “Foreign Travel Grant” by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. She has been invited as faculty at Annual meetings of AROI, Oncology forum and Best of SABCS.

She is an active member of ESMO and participated in the first ESMO Leaders Generation Programme Asia in 2019. She was also awarded Translational Research Unit Visit Fellowship at AKH, Vienna, Austria by ESMO. She collaborated on the ESMO Resilience Task Force surveys assessing the impact of COVID-19 on oncology professionals. She was also involved in implementation of a survey, in collaboration with other ESMO LGP Alumni and the ESMO Social Media Working Group, to better understand attitudes to social media and virtual meetings in the era of COVID-19. Dr Devnani is a member of the ESMO Membership Committee and the ESMO Climate Change Task Force.
