ESMO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology (TTOD) signed a joint membership agreement in 2014. The aim of the partnership is to promote education and scientific initiatives to the Turkish oncology community.
ESMO - TTOD Agreement
Since January 2015, members of the TTOD are welcome to join ESMO along with their national society and get access to more valuable educational resources and opportunities.
The annual ESMO membership fee for members in Turkey is now waived, due to Turkey being classified by the World Bank as an upper-middle income country, based on the Gross National Income (GNI) per capita and calculated using the World Bank Atlas method.

New ESMO member?
Applicants should follow the normal ESMO membership procedure, on reaching the section asking for membership to another professional oncology society, TTOD members should indicate they are a member of TTOD by clicking on the society name.

NOTE: Membership applications must be made to each respective society satisfying membership requirements according to the society statutes. Any membership fees are paid separately to the respective secretariats of ESMO and TTOD.
