Dr. Erika Matos is a specialist in internal
medicine, working as a medical oncologist at the Institute of Oncology in
Ljubljana, Slovenia. Dr. Erika Matos obtained her master degree in 2003.
Dr. Erika Matos is primarily involved in
treating breast cancer patients and also GIST patients and is a principal
investigator and co-investigator in some international clinical trials for
these groups of patients: Central European Cooperative Oncology Group (GECOG),
European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) and the
International Breast Cancer Study Group (IBCSG) She is a member of the Slovenian Medical Association,
Chair of the Slovenian Society of Medical Oncology and an ESMO member since
2001.
