Developing Countries Task ForceThe Developing Countries (DCTF) Task Force addresses the specific, educational needs of oncology healthcare specialists in developing countries*.
Activities and responsibilities
- Supporting oncology specialists in less affluent countries
- Sharing knowledge
- Providing input for new topics for ESMO Minimum Clinical Recommendations
- Improving local healthcare infrastructures
- Promoting the ESMO Examination
- Organizing meetings and education programs
- Researching and compiling statistics on status of oncology in developing countries
- Liaising with other ESMO committees, providing information about developing countries
- Serving as a point of reference for developing regions
