Position

New position
International Clinical Fellowships
With the possibility to complete the MSc in Oncology with The Institute of Cancer Research

Job Description

International Clinical Fellowships at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust are fixed-term appointments of 2.5 years. They present a fantastic possibility to gain valuable training and experience in all the major tumour types at one of the world’s leading cancer hospitals. They also provide the opportunity to complete an MSc in Oncology run by our partner The Institute of Cancer Research.

The posts are attached to multi-disciplinary units covering all aspects in the medical management of cancer including medical oncologists, clinical oncologists, palliative medicine physicians and cancer surgeons. Fellows will rotate through The Royal Marsden’s clinical units (e.g. Breast, Lung, Gynaecology, Gastrointestinal, Urology, Haemato-oncology and Melanoma) every six months.

Training Experience Required

All candidates should be eligible for registration with the GMC. Successful completion of a foundation year’s training or equivalent is essential for entry to the programme. Where equivalent qualifications or experience are being offered, it is essential that the candidate provides written confirmation from the Royal College and attaches this to their application. Applicants who do not provide this confirmation will not be put forward for shortlisting.
