This visit is focused on Translational Research including:

  • Aim to teach young oncologists all about carrying out and enjoying translational research.
  • Fellows will be shown around the facilities.
  • Explained about the hurdles and how to tackle them.
  • Meet preclinical and clinical people and make them even more motivated for Translational research.
  • The above will be illustrated through the following themes of the day: Molecular imaging, Long term toxicity and early (pre)clinical trials, Microenvironment, infiltration and metastasis of tumor cells and several aspects of gynecological oncological trials.

We received a large number of applications from high quality candidates, who were selected by the Fellowship and Award Committee on a competitive basis considering clinical/laboratory experience, publications and motivation letter.
