This Symposium will provide a detailed overview of the molecular mechanisms underpinning the development of cancer and its treatment, with the intent of enabling clinicians and other professionals who manage cancer patients to improve their understanding of the disease and its therapy.
Who should attend:
The program is made up of a sequence of sessions designed to the meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists and other clinical professionals who manage cancer patients. In addition the program will be of equal, or possibly greater, interest to clinical investigators in biomedical research and to trainees, who need to understand the molecular mechanisms that govern the functioning and malfunctioning of malignant cells.
“This ESMO-Symposium will allow bed-side oriented oncologists to grasp key and timely-issues related to cancer biology. All presentations will have a clear focus towards potential clinical implications thus helping clinicians fully comprehend the major consequences that new developments in cancer biology may have in daily care”
