2010 ESMO Examination

The ESMO Examination (re-) certifies that a medical oncologist possesses the knowledge, skills and aptitude essential for the optimal treatment of cancer patients.

Time:	17:30 - 19:30 CET
Location:	Main Session: 35th ESMO Congress, Milan Italy Swiss Session: Lucerne, Switzerland German Session: Berlin, Germany For other Sessions please check with your National Representative to see if a Session will be held in your country.
Application Deadlines:	Early Registration by 1 April 2010 Late Registration by 1 August 2010
Eligibility:	Full and Junior ESMO Members Members of the AIO and DGHO (Germany) Members of the FMH (Switzerland)
Examination Fee:	ESMO Member Early Registration - € 50 ESMO Member Late Registration - € 100 AIO/DGHO/FMH Members - € 200
Examination Format:	Written examination of 120 minutes Questions cover all fields of medical oncology, including: basic elements of tumor histology, epidemiology and biology. 80 multiple-choice questions, including 35 Type A, 20 Type B, 10 Type E and 15 Type K Prime Pass Score: 60% correct answers
