The European Society for Medical Oncology is committed to providing its Members with educational material and opportunities that are useful and relevant to their work and practice.
In 2009 ESMO started the development of the online CME test for the ESMO Handbook enabling ESMO Members to accrue CME points.

 The ESMO Handbook CME test consists of 10 questions. The system enables participants to take the test twice and the pass rate needs to be 60% or above. An ESMO CME Certificate awarding 5 ESMO-MORA category 1 points is automatically issued on successful completion of the Test. ESMO members have the option to print the certificate immediately or keep it in the CME bank to print out at a later stage. Participants can take the CME test up to 2 years after Handbook’s release.
