1. Temporary Consultant Medical Oncologist
HSE/South East: Waterford Regional Hospital – One day per at South Tipperary General Hospital, Ireland.

The successful candidate will be required to take up duty as soon as possible.
Regional Oncology Services for the South East serving a population of approx. 460,000. Responsibilities include:
- Assessment and therapy planning for patients newly diagnosed with cancer, surveillance post-therapy, treatment for relapsed disease and management of both treatment and disease-related symptoms. This involves OPD clinics, Oncology Day ward attendances for scheduled and unplanned reviews, and care of in-patients with the full spectrum of solid tumour malignancy ranging from early to end-stage disease.
- Lead role in the multidisciplinary team including managing MDT meetings.
- Educational role for Specialist registrar training and NCHD teaching.
- Management role-engaging with HOPE group and liaising with management team for service planning
- Clinical Audit
Requirements: Registration as a specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty of Medical Oncology. Access to transport as post will involve frequent travel.
