Fellowship Offers
The ESMO Fellowship Program provides unique research and educational opportunities to Medical Oncologists around the world. There are short-term educational visits for just a few days, clinical programs from six weeks to one year, and translational research for up to two years.

| Translational Research Unit (TRU) Visits | Educational events for young oncologists that provide crucial practical information on how translational research is performed. |

| Clinical Unit Visits | The opportunity to gain insight into oncology care and the links with clinical and translational research at a top cancer center. Fellows have the opportunity to expand professional networks with a European institution of excellence, and apply the host institute’s high quality procedures and techniques in the home institution | |
| Palliative Care Fellowship | An important facet of oncology: easing the physical and mental suffering of cancer patients. Fellows spend an intensive period of observation and/or research at one of the ESMO Designated Centers of Integrated Oncology and Palliative Care. |
Research Fellowships
| Translational Research Fellowships | Comprehensive bench-to-bedside training in translational research. Fellows have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in basic cancer research. European centres of excellence serve as host institutes providing the necessary support to develop specific high-quality translational research projects in oncology, and helps fellows gain valuable international experience. | Clinical Research Fellowships | Provide young oncologists with valuable training in clinical research in renowned European cancer centers and support efforts to expand professional networks through collaboration with institutions of excellence.
