Information for organizers

Event organizers can apply for an ESMO Supported meeting in the oncology field by submitting their application to the ESMO Education Services.

Through an ESMO Supported meeting, the event organizer has the possibility to get financial support and to use the ESMO logo, as well as advertising advantages (through the ESMO Web site and publications) of the meeting, increasing the visibility of the oncology issues and enlarging the audience.

Furthermore the ESMO-MORA points accreditation to the course will enable members to apply for the MORA recertification.

Requirements for a meeting to be supported by ESMO:

  • the involved costs need to be submitted for the budget by 1 May in the year preceding the event
  • programs must meet high academic standards
  • admission must be open to participants of all nationalities
  • each course is accredited with ESMO-MORA points
  • course attendance is monitored, and a Certificate of Attendance is issued
  • ESMO members benefit from a fee reduction

Requirements for application:

The following documents/information must be submitted to the ESMO Education Services:

  1. Application form duly completed
  2. Full program in English with indication of timing and speakers
  3. Names of the speakers (from the ESMO Faculty) to be supported by ESMO
