Supported Meetings
Supported Meetings are educational meetings proposed, arranged and financed by a local organizer.
After evaluation by the Educational Committee that the proposed program is of a high academic standard, ESMO can grant the event support, which consists of:
- proposing of up to four speakers from the ESMO Faculty List
and
- covering their travel costs and honorarium.
ESMO also grants continuing medical education points for accreditation within the ESMO Medical Oncologists' Recertification Approval (MORA) program
Goal
By supporting these meetings ESMO hopes to stimulate the arrangement of educational meetings and to encourage members to participate in these meetings with the aim of updating their knowledge and re-certifying their professional skills via the ESMO-MORA program. |
