Venue

The event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Brussels City Center "Le Palace" Hotel (Rue Gineste 3, B-1210 Brussels). Situated close to the Gare Centrale & Gare du Midi (Eurostar) and 20 minutes from Brussels international airport, the hotel is extremely well connected.

Official language

The official language of the conference is English
Sessions will not be translated.

Participants

More than 600 specialists in breast cancer are expected to join this program.


CME accreditation


The program of this event will be:
- Accredited with ESMO-MORA category 1 points.
- Submitted for CME accreditation to the ACOE (Accreditation Council for Oncology in Europe).
ACOE accreditation has been endorsed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).
These credits are also recognized by the American Medical Association (AMA) as Physician's Recognition Award (AMA PRA category 1 credits).

Abstract submission

Abstract submission will be available online from November 2009. Abstracts accepted for poster presentation will be displayed during the Conference.

Publications

All invited and accepted abstracts will be published as a supplement of the official ESMO Journal, Annals of Oncology.

Travel grants

A restricted number of travel grants to the Conference will be made available.

Accommodation

Accommodation may be booked directly at the Crowne Plaza Brussels City Center "Le Palace" Hotel. Please see the accommodation section.

Passport / visa

A valid identity card is sufficient for entry into Belgium for citizens of EU member countries. Nationals of non-EU member countries are advised to consult the nearest Belgian Consulate for specific details.

Insurance

The organizers bear no responsibility for untoward events in connection with, before, during and after the conference. Participants are strongly advised to take out their own personal and travel insurance coverage.

Press information

Free Media Registration is granted to all bona fide media representatives.
A Press Center equipped with resources and technical facilieties will be open to journalists registered for the Conference. Journalists will also have the possibility to schedule interviews. A Media Registration form, media policies and other information will be made available from the IMPAKT web page.
