Hamilton Fairley Award

The Hamilton Fairley Award commemorates one of the founding fathers of medical oncology in Europe and is presented to candidates who are internationally recognized for lifetime achievements in science and clinical / laboratory research.

Criteria:   

Candidates may include any merited scientist (not only  oncologists) who has dedicated his/her career to the field of oncology

Nominations for candidates must include:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Letter of recommendation specifying which award the candidate is being nominated for, including
    • a description of the candidate's major achievements with regards to the award
    • an explanation of the impact of these achievements on the field of medical oncology
  • The candidate's curriculum vitae (in English)
  • A selection of the candidate's most important, original published articles within the realm of scientific literature
