Presently, the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) is offering a position at the Society’s Head Office in Lugano, Switzerland. The Society’s official language is English.
CORPORATE SPONSOR' RECRUITER
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Enlist existing and/or new sponsors in support of the society's events and activities
- Handle sponsorship queries, prepare proposals, conduct actual selling and contractual follow up
- Work on the creation of the different sponsorship opportunities in cooperation with the rest of the society's marketing team
- Manage the relationship with the sponsors (on site meetings visit preparation, needs' identification, and database management)
- Occasional travel in Europe is required
Required Technical Skills
- Minimum of three years of experience in sales, business to business sales experience an advantage
- Ability to work independently, prioritize and take initiative
- Excellent written and oral English skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Basic understanding of a CRM system’s logic and functioning
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
- Swiss citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit
Required Social Skills
- Unconditional team player
- Sound interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to listen and evaluate opinions, suggestions and recommendations of others
Additional Suitable Skills
- Prior non-profit experience in corporate fundraising, and/or for profit sponsoring activities considered an asset
- Demonstration of active, hands-on experience in fundraising and events' sponsor with special event goals
