ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines: Breast Cancer

The ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) are intended to provide the user with a set of recommendations for the best standards of cancer care, based on the findings of evidence-based medicine.

Latest enhanced and revised set of guidelines

The ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines on Breast Cancer cover primary breast cancer and include information on staging and diagnosis, treatment and follow-up. There are also specific guidelines focussing on breast/ovarian hereditary cancer syndromes including cancer prevention and screening among individuals known to harbour a pathogenic BRCA1/2 mutation. The Third ESO-ESMO International Consensus Guidelines for Advanced Breast Cancer (ABC3) consensus guidelines provide extensive recommendations on locally advanced and metastatic breast cancer.
