Born in Landsberg/Lech, Germany, in 1977, Stefan Boeck, MD, studied medicine at the Ludwig-Mayimilians-University in Munich from 1997 to 2004. Part of his final year was spent at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He graduated in 2004 with a Thesis on “Chimerism of peripheral blood dendritic cells in patients after allogeneic haematopoietic cell transplantation”.

Since 2004 Stefan Boeck has been Resident and Fellow at the 3rd Department of Internal Medicine (Haematology and Oncology), Klinikum Grosshadern, Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich.

Stefan Boeck’s main research activity has focused on Clinical and translational research in pancreatic cancer within the training programme directed by Prof. V. Heinemann.

Stefan Boeck is author and co-author of a number of articles published in leading journals such as Annals of Oncology and he is a Member of the German Cancer Society, AIO (Arbeitsgruppe Internistische Onkologie) and ASCO.
